The company has been operating for 20 years from the Ballina Head Office and has a second laboratory at Coffs Harbour in the Toormina Industrial Estate.
ASCT is a consultant and technical service providing geotechnical, civil engineering and environmental testing and reporting for government and private industry to comply with Australian Standards and government specifications and regulations.
ASCT perform geotechnical investigations for residential, commercial and industrial developments and provide civil engineering technical testing services for earthworks, roadworks and concrete constructions.
ASCT has worked on major infrastructure projects such as the Pacific & Hume Highway upgrades, Ballina Airport, Rocky Creek Dam, Ballina & Lennox Head Sewage Treatment Plants and many residential and industrial subdivisions across Northern New South Wales.
The laboratory is NATA accredited and has the equipment and facilities to undertake a broad range of soil, aggregate and concrete testing for engineering projects together with environmental sampling and testing for contamination assessment and acid sulphate soil for development approvals.
The laboratory can undertake work from a single residential allotment through to multi storey commercial buildings and has the staff with appropriate knowledge, experience and qualifications to perform the assessment to the required standard and to report the findings in accordance with the specifications and regulations for the project.
